    The Pawnee Lady Coyote traveled to play Woodlin/Arickaree on Friday. The Lady Coyotes won 25-14, 25-15, 25-8. Coach Marcy Konig said, “The Coyotes made a change in their rotation that has really been working. Afton Zitek had an amazing night serving 13 in a row.” Zitek continued to serve bullet after bullet which added another 6 aces to the scoreboard.     Another sports season began Aug. 29, when the Pawnee volleyball teams hosted Merino. On Friday, Aug. 30, the teams traveled to Briggsdale. Following those matches the team is set to embark on the remaining season sitting on a 6-1 record after defeating Briggsdale 3-0 and Merino 3-1.     It was a very busy start for the basketball season as the Ladies played in the Canine Classic Highland/University Invitational tournament.
