USDA helps rural Wyoming recover from flooding

In June 2015, the town of Lusk was devastated when a thunderstorm dumped six inches of rain that washed out a bridge and flooded surrounding homes and businesses.

Ervin Cox, a United States Marine Corps veteran and retired plumber, and his daughter Dixie Blaney, a former dispatcher with the sheriff’s office, were at home at the time when the floodwaters began rising into his mobile home at a rapid pace.
