    The Pine Bluffs Police Department is investigating a vehicle break-in that occurred sometime between 11 a.m. on May 19 and 10 a.m. on May 20. Authorities say a white Dodge Ram 2500 was broken into and taken for a joyride by unknown person(s) from the 300 block of West 4th Street. During the incident, the vehicle sustained damage and several items were stolen from inside the vehicle. For claiming purposes, Pine Bluffs Police have elected not to reveal what items were stolen.     A Pine Bluffs town employee's error led to the east portion of Pine Bluffs Park being closed. Pine Bluffs Deputy Clerk Rene Baker said a town employee errantly sprayed the wrong chemical on the grass, causing it to die. The mistake also affected the town baseball field. Pine Bluffs Public Works Director Jerry Lamb said the error was an honest mistake. According to Lamb, the park has been re-seeded and should take three-to-four weeks to grow back, after which it will be reopen...

    Burns branch manager of Wyoming Bank and Trust, Lorna Dunlap, said her bank received notice from the Federal Bureau of Investigations that a new wave of phone scams has hit, and they're targeting the elderly. “There are reports of scammers requesting that seniors send large-dollar amounts.     The best Wyoming high school athletes in the state for the 2016 Boys Outdoor Track and Field season have been named by the Wyoming Coaches Association. There is no voting for all-state. The honor goes to the top two athletes in each individual event and the winning relay team.
