    The 65th Annual Trail Days has now been here and is over, and by all accounts it was considered an unqualified success despite that there were other festivities going on in the surrounding area.     The Steel Pan Band from Trinidad and Tobago recently entertained residents of Pine Bluffs at the Pine Bluffs Baptist Church, where Pastor Dan DeBruyn hosted them for a third time. The band played a few hymns, a Disney song and a pirate themed medley for the children. Between each song the musicians looked to each other to prepare for the next song.     Ira Wyche Blackwell, III, was born Nov. 18, 1959, in Cheyenne. He passed away on July 3, 2015, in Tyler, Texas. Ira joined the Navy in 1980. He returned home after 12 years of service, spending most of his time on the USS Gridley 21. He moved to Colorado after his discharge, and was employed at a variety of places. As his health failed, he moved to Texas to live with his mother. Memorial services for Ira Wyche Blackwell, 55, Callender Lake, Texas, are pending.     They sing for family, friends and fun. They're the Squash Blossoms, an all-girl Wyoming musical group comprised of Kaci Malmburg, McKenzi Digby, Kim Kuhn and Georgeann Wearin. The band has been together for about a year, practicing weekly. Their first performace was about four months ago, and they appeared this past week as part of the local Trail Days festivities.     Friday night saw the end of the Double Bar G Summer Rodeo series, points tallied, and buckle winners named in all of the event categories as well as the All-Around Youth Competitor. Seth Glass, who took top honors in the Jr-Sr Team Roping and Novice Goat Tying, also took the All Around title, earning a combined total of 55 points over three events including Novice Goat Tying.
