  • We will need to do ultimate road trip to finish my Wyoming Bucket List

    Bill Sniffin|Oct 20, 2016

When you have been fortunate enough to travel all over the world, why would you then spend so much time wandering around Wyoming? I get that question a lot. The answer is simple – there is just so much to see and do in our great state and we want to experience all of it. Earlier in our lives, we were fortunate to visit Canada and Mexico. I earned a Masters Degree in Cardiff, Wales. We used to own a company that promoted the Rocky Mountain States in Europe. We visited Hong Kong to line up g...

  • Letter to the Editor

    Oct 20, 2016

To the voters of Senate District 6, Kym Zwonitzer has stepped forward as an independent candidate in your district. How fortunate you are. Her business background is much needed in the legislature. Since she is married to Representative Dave Zwonitzer, she has had the opportunity to observe the process it takes to be a knowledgeable and effective Senator to represent you. Anthony Bouchard is a one-issue candidate. He is a volitile radical from California who has lived here only a few years. His agenda is to put guns in schools. Do you think...

Last week we visited about my work on the House Natural Resources Committee and this week I want to drill down further into the energy production that is so crucial to jobs in Wyoming and revenue for our state government. Wyoming coal, oil, gas, and uranium quite literally keep the lights on in America and power our economy. Whether they know it or not, millions of Americans rely on Wyoming energy and the State of Wyoming relies on the revenue from that energy. Part of my work on the Natural Resources Committee is keeping our public lands open...

Good morning! Another beautiful fall day, just a little bit to much wind. Could be worse though, right? The damage caused by the rough weather in our eastern/southern states will take months if not years to recover from for those folks. A few locals here experienced the anxiety of the weather as they spent time in Florida during that. We are glad that all turned out well for them. Been pretty good around here except for a few minor bumps and one major one. The major one involved a cute little...

  • Albin News

    Charlene Smith|Oct 20, 2016

Is it the wisp of corn dust or simply the strong winds ushering in the new season that has changed the air outside. Both leave us with amazing views. The combines rolling slowly over their dried golden harvest and the crisp leaves being lifted into the sky, hopefully dropping in our neighbors pile to rake. Almost poetic words that Bob Dylan might use. We may not win a Nobel Prize for “blowing in the wind,” but we certainly have a few prizes in people. Some are celebrating their birthday. Adr...
