The Pine Bluffs Recreation Department is offering a Tuesday Trails Program this summer for youth ages 5 -15. The program will consist of four separate trail hikes on four separate Tuesday mornings throughout the summer. The hikes will begin and end at the Pine Bluffs Rest Area Playground. The first of four hikes is set for Tuesday, June 30 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Parents can register their child at 10 a.m. at the rest area playground the day of the hike. "Hikers" must wear socks and hiking or tennis shoes; no sandals or crocs please. Each hike will have its own destination and on June 30 we will be hiking to the Pine Bluffs Archeology Dig Site. Once at the site we will tour the facility and enjoy snacks and juice before hiking back to the rest area playground. For more information, call Sonja Fornstrom at 245-3301.
