The Panhandle Senior Women’s Golf Association held their annual tournament June 22 at the Chimney Rock Golf course in Bayard, Neb.

Taking first was the team of Pat Schmer, Phyllis Gross, Shirley Kildow, and Edna Sandalin. They team also recorded three hole outs.

Taking second was Linda Gunia, Joyce Kortum, Bev Lee, and Donna Loyd, while the team of Vicky Nemnich, Kay Snyder, Claudia Benda, and Alice Theobold took third.

Hole outs were recorded by the team of Carol Shaddeg, Mary Ann Brothers, Jay Eberhardt, and Kip Fitzgibbons. The team of Sharon Nuss, Donna Engleman, Colleen Brown, and Pat Lynch shot a birdie while two birdies was scored by the team Connie Booth, Mary Langdon, Chris Burbach, and Sally Plover.

Flag prizes included Claudia Benda for the closest chip shot; Sally Plover for closest to the line and both Linda Guinia and Donna Engleman scored for the longest putt.
