Sports and camp physicals will be held July 8, 16 and 23 this year at the Kimball Health Services Clinic. The physicals are for junior and senior high students attending summer camps and athletes participating in sports this fall.

The clinic is offering the physicals for a discounted rate of $40, which includes the urine analysis. The discounted rate is available only for physicals conducted July 8, 16 and 23, and must be paid for that day. The clinic will not bill any health insurances for these physicals.

According to KHS Clinic Director Ken Watson, the sports physicals do not satisfy the school’s requirement of a more in-depth physical for students entering kindergarten or seventh grade. Appointments are required. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8 to noon and 1 to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon.
