Virginia Gronewold, 80, of Dallas, Texas, went to be with her Lord on Jan. 19, 2010.

She was born Aug. 16, 1929, in Maxwell, Neb., to the late Fred and Minerva Pointer Siegelin and they preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughters, Suzan Nix and husband, George Wallace, and Dorene Gillett; granddaughters, Kerri Bailiff and husband, Howard, Lesli Burrows and husband, Kirk, and Kimberli Gillett; great-grandchildren, Randy Green and Brook Burrows; a sister, Marie Blackford; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Eleanor Long, Maxine Cain and Elaine Ravenscroft.

A memorial service was conducted Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010 at Aria Cremation Service and Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas with Rev. Preston Jarrell officiating.

If desired, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice in Virginia’s name.
