Lady Broncs post win over Southeast

The Burns Lady Broncs opened their weekend with a 43-37 victory over their host Southeast Lady Cylcones.
“Big win versus Southeast,” said coach Barry Ward. “The kids played really good defense.”
Leading the herd in scoring was Bailey Ward with 15 and Mckayla Ward with 10. Chelsea Engel was the top rebounder, grabbing six boards on the night. Megan Marker made her name with steals, snagging 5 balls from the hands of the Lady Cylcones.
Saturdays game had a totally different outcome with the Lady Broncs on the losing end of a 61-35 score against Wright at home.
“On Saturday we played really flat and with no energy and got beat pretty bad,” Coach Ward said.
The Lady Panthers managed to contain Bailey Ward on Saturday, allowing her to sink only five. She averages 14.6 points per game and has amassed 175 over 13 games. The game’s high scorer for the Lady Broncs was Mckenzie Ward with 10 points.
