"Like Father, Like Son" Father’s Day weekend saw quite a few fathers out with their sons for rodeo action at the =G Rodeo at the Pine Bluffs Arena. There were also family pairings in the several events during the evening.
With a score of 59 Tommy Schultz was the only bull or steer rider to come away with prize money at Friday night’s =G Rodeo. The puts him in a tie with Mike Schultz in season standings. Both have earned six points.
Reata Hoar remains atop the leader board in novice goat tying. She entered Friday’s rodeo with 11 points and tacked on another six by taking first place with a time of 10.4 seconds. In second place was Tanna Hansen, who finished in 26.2 seconds. In the open goat tying event, a time of 9.7 second put Lacy Johnson in first place. Hoar followed for second in 9.9 seconds.
