I wasn’t able to attend the village board meeting last week, but I got a short recap from Tim Nolting.

Dog licenses are due in April - hopefully you all saw the signs and made it to the discounted shot day for your pets on April 15. If not, you’ll have to take your dog in to the vet to get updated shots and then bring in the proof of vaccination to get your license.

The board held the first reading of the proposed resolution for an increase of the village water rates.

The Panhandle Area Development District gave a presentation on economic development programs.
