The village board meeting was held Wednesday, August 13. It was a fairly short meeting, with several items being tabled until next month or later.

Jennifer Ivy has decided to wait until 2015 to pursue her kennel license.

Dwayne Brackeen brought up traffic issues on 2nd Street. The board agreed to try placing stop signs in that neighborhood to see if that will help slow down cars.
