Phyllis Louise Towns

Phyllis Louise Towns, 85, of Hillsdale, Wyo., died Nov. 21, 2014 at Lifecare. She was born on August 11, 1929 in Dundy County, Neb.

Phyllis came to Burns in 1929 and first went to the Lutheran School, graduating from Burns High School. Her college coursework included classes in insurance and computers.

Phyllis married Marion Lewis Towns of Hillsdale on June 23, 1946. After living in Cheyenne for a year, they moved to their farm in Hillsdale. They farmed wheat and other crops, raised sheep, cattle, and a poultry operation. She was an excellent wife, mother, cook, seamstress, gardener, and...
