The Burns Winter Classic kicked off the Burns basketball season Thursday Dec. 11. The tournament included the Burns Broncs, Lingle Doggers, Little Snake River Rattlers, Moorcroft Wolves, Pine Bluffs Hornets, Saratoga Panthers, Shoshoni Wranglers, Southeast Cyclones and the Wind River Cougars. The tournament was held from Thursday through Saturday.
Burns senior Mckenzie Ward came out proving why she is an All Region and All Conference performer. Ward lead the team with 28 points in their win over Shoshoni and averaged 20.5 points per game during the tournament. The team went undefeated thro...
