Doris E. Huckfeldt

Doris Edna Huckfeldt, 93, of Cheyenne, passed away March 28, 2015, at her home. She was born Feb. 19, 1922, in Lusk to Walter Leo 'Doc' and Eva (Tweedy) Klemke. Doris grew up on the family dairy farm with her four sisters. She milked cows, delivered milk, put up hay and helped with all other chores on the farm.

She married Frederick Carl Huckfeldt on Sept. 1, 1945, after waiting for him to return from World War II. They lived in numerous towns throughout Wyoming, and Doris was active in the Lutheran churches which she attended.
