After suffering their first loss of the season in the 2A East Regional final the previous week, the Lady Hornets were looking to rebound against the competition at state. But there's a good reason these teams make it to state.

The Pine Bluffs girls opened the 2A state tournament agsint the Greybull Lady Buffaloes last Thursday.
The Lady Hornets came out slow and Greybull took a 10-4 lead in the first.
The Lady Hornets bounced back in the second, outscoring Greybull 15-4 to take a 19-14 lead at the break.
Pine opened the second half with another 15-point quarter to widen their lead...
