Burns marks 100th commencement with 31 grads

To the strains of "Pomp and Circumstance," the 2017 graduates of Burns High School, the 100th graduating class of the school, marched forward arm in arm with their candle bearers to take their seats before the stage.

Following the National Anthem, performed by the school's band, Lauren Streeter provided the welcome, stating she had received this honor by raising her hand quicker than any of the other graduates when volunteers were called.

Timber Kelly, soldiering on through a cold, gave the invocation, asking grace for her classmates as they cross the threshold of their futures.
