Community Calendar


Items for possible inclusion in the weekly community calendar should be typewritten or legibly printed. All submissions should include the name and daytime telephone number of the person submitting the information in case questions arise.

Items which may be included in the calendar are church events, club meetings, and school events.

If your club will not be meeting or has a change, please contact us so we can update the calendar with the correct information as soon as possible.

Items should be received on Monday at 5 p.m., one week prior to the date they will appear in the calendar.

They may be faxed to 307-245-3325, e-mailed to, mailed to Pine Bluffs Post, P.O. Box 68, Pine Bluffs, WY 82082, or dropped off at the Post’s office located at 201 E. 2nd St.

Every Weekday Morning

Every morning from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. you can get together with your friends for coffee and conversation at the Pine Bluffs Senior Center.

Every Tuesday

Every Tuesday at 1 p.m. Bingo is held at the Pine Bluffs Senior Center.

Every Wednesday

Pick up pickleball will be held Wednesdays at the Community Center from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Pickleball is a game played indoors on a small court with a paddle and whiffle ball. Free of charge, everyone is welcome.

Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday

Senior Shape Up at the Pine Bluffs Fitness Center from 8:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. This is a free exercise program designed to promote flexibility, muscle strength, coordination and general overall fitness.


The Pine Bluffs Senior Center will start Nintendo Wii Bowling Leagues starting February 11! These are 17-week leagues: Jan-April; May-Aug; Sept-Dec.

Times are 9-11 a.m. Please come in before the February 11 to create your Wii profile.

Join us every Thursday for an interactive storytime session designed for preschool children and their caregivers to practice new skills incorporating books, songs, rhymes, movement, and more!

Friday Movies at the Library

1:30-3:30 p.m.

Come to the library on Friday afternoons this school year to watch a variety of family-friendly films. Each week we’ll show a different movie. Bring your favorite snack to enjoy. (Children & Families; Pine Bluffs Branch Library).

Bingo Bonanza

Pine Bluffs Library

1:30 – 2:30 p.m.

Join us for back-to-back rounds of the all-time favorite game – BINGO! We’ll play a variety of Bingo games with cool prizes for the lucky winners. Refreshments will be served. (Grades 2-5; Pine Bluffs Branch Library)

June 10

The annual Bushnell Alumni Banquet that takes place every second Saturday in June will be held this year on Jun 10.

The Egbert-Hillsdale-Burns-Carpenter Alumni Banquet will be held June 10 at Carpenter Elementary School. Doors will open at 4 p.m. for visiting, socializing and viewing memorabilia. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m.

The Eagle Riders Annual Charity Ride will make a stop at The Knotty Pine Saloon in Pine Bluffs at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 11.

Music will be provided by Dalton Fuller, who will play 50 Names On The Wall.

Crossroads Community Church in Pine Bluffs will host Vacation Bible School from June 12-15, 6:30-8:15 p.m.

Brown Bag Book Club: Escape From Mr. Lemoncello’s Library


Wednesday, June 14

12:00 – 1:00 p.m.

Twelve-year-old Kyle gets to stay overnight in the new town library, designed by his hero (the famous game maker Luigi Lemoncello), with other students, but finds that come morning, he must work with friends to solve puzzles in order to escape.

Please bring a sack lunch and meet us at the park on Main Street. Lemonade, water, and cookies will be provided. Pick up a copy of the book when you sign up at the Pine Bluffs Branch Library. (Grades 5-8; Park on Main Street)

June 17

American Legion Auxiliary Unit 6 from Cheyenne will have a flea market on June 17 at the Legion Post at 2001 East Lincolnway. Hours will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Our Lady of Peace Shrine will be holding a field mass at the Shrine on Saturday June 17th, 2017 at 10:00 AM.

Book lovers unite! Enjoy a relaxed social evening as we discuss a popular novel each third Tuesday. Stop in anytime between meetings to check out your copy of the book each month, then bring a dish to add to our potluck dinner. Get ready for a great discussion. (Adults; Burns Branch Library)
