Sunday Hours for Texas Trail Market

In a couple weeks if you are missing an ingredient for your Sunday dinner, you will be able to pick it up at the Texas Trail Market. New Sunday hours will be Noon to 6:00 p.m will begin on November 5. Holidays will see activity at the Market as well, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. It is felt that these particular holidays are "family" time and should be spent with family, all other holiday hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

This decision of the board for the co-op owned market was to try to boast sales, which in turn will raise profits. Everyone has other reasons for shopping else where; because they are already in a larger town with more chain stores or thinking they are saving money by shopping at the discount markets. This market has been in business for 69 years and this is the first time that it has had Sunday hours.

Mixed feeling have been voiced by customer and employee, but all are open to giving it a try.

Shopping at your home town store is not only a convenience but helps out the community by offering an attraction for people looking to move into the area. The saying "Shop at Home" could really boast this market.
