Veterans Memorial Park Ceremony with Marines 242 birthday

The United States Marines turned 242 years old. They celebrated in Pine Bluffs with a ceremony and the placing memory bricks for fallen veterans. Following the ceremony, veterans and their families were invited for a meal along with beverages and desserts. Along with the memories being shared between veterans, friends, and family, guest speaker, Steve Kravitsky with the State of Wyoming Military Department and Veterans Commission shared a few words on the importance of the marines birthday and veterans day are so important to him. He spoke on things one could do for veterans, and passing the respect and dedication of the military down to our young people. Following the meal veterans and active duty military went to the cemetery to place flags on the headstones of those who have served our great military.
