Carole Sue Houseman Wisroth

Carole Sue Houseman Wisroth, 74, of Pine Bluffs Wyoming, passed away on Saturday November 11, 2017. Carole was born April 3, 1943, in Alton, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Lucille Carter Houseman, her adoptive parents, Grace and Wally Jung and by her siblings, Jim, Patsy, Billy and Lois.

After struggling for several years with COPD, Carole passed peacefully with her family by her side. She worked for the US Postal Service and had served in the U.S. Navy. She was a proud veteran and it is fitting she passed away on Veteran's Day. 

Carole loved being outdoors, especially spending time fishing and gardening. She also enjoyed reading and painting but more than anything else, Carole loved her family.

Carole is survived by her daughters Brenda S. Greenhagen of Windsor, CO and Leanne Person (Luke) of Pine Bluffs, WY; grandchildren, Kameron Buckner (Jennifer Huber), Kodee Kidd, Klay Roth (Kailey Hale), Nick Person, Tim Person and Hope Person; great grandchildren – Karli, Theodore and David. Carole is also survived by her sisters Jackie and Linda and special family members, Susan Baca, Kym and John Wiederholt, Derede Darden and Nona Winter. Carole also had some special dogs in her life - Chance, Chance II, Chaney, and granddog Missy.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Windsor Healthcare & Accent Care for the care provide Carole during her illness.

A Memorial Service will be held on December 9, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at United Methodist Church, 600 Main Street, Pine Bluff, Wyoming.
