For the Pine Bluffs Post

Ashley Rousseau, Pine Bluffs High School Student Council Adivisor accepts a check from Points West Community Branch President, Scott Vasko.

In the year of 2017 there were two donations made by the Points West Bank. One donation went to the Pine Bluffs Student Council, and another went to the Pine Bluffs Senior Center.

Aside from the Student Councils ideas for their donation, the Senior Center has not yet decided where the donation will be used.

The Student Council plans to use the donated money to better their community service projects. One project is the WeekEND Hunger program, which supplies hunger bags for students and members of the community who are in need of food and food supplements. Another project the money will benefit their buddy bucks program. "Our buddy bucks program is a long standing program that helps families in need during the holiday season." said Ashley Rousseau, Student Council Advisor. "We purchase toys, stocking and toiletries for each child. This year we bought for 22 families and served 38 kids in the Pine Bluffs and Albin community.
