Veterans memorial mural to be installed soon, Wyoming dignitaries to dedicate

For the past few years, Pine Bluffs resident Larry Silvey has toiled away on a memorial honoring veterans in Pine Bluffs.

That will culminate next week when workers install a 90-foot mural at the Pine Bluffs Veterans Memorial and Community Plaza.

“I’ve spent quite a while on this one. I went to 10 different artists from Tennessee to Washington,” Silvey said. “Finally I found a fellow from Salt Lake.”

Silvey explained that the mural will wrap around the walls at the park, which currently features a statue of a service member from each branch of the military.
