Hornets looking forward to regional meet this weekend
Seth Tangeman hands off the baton to teammate Colby Lamb in the 4X100-meter relay at a track meet earlier this year in Burns. Both the Pine Bluffs Hornets and Lady Hornets won the Southeastern Wyoming Athletic Conference meet held in Glenrock over the weekend.
It's come down to the last two meets of the year for the Pine Bluffs High School track and field team.
And with a Southeastern Wyoming Athletic Conference win under their belt from the previous weekend under their belt, things are looking up.
"Our kids are doing what they do best," head coach Dustin Lee said. "I know our kids are going to step up and do what they can. There's a little more stress for the kids who didn't pre-qualify. This weekend is their last chance to get to state.
"They're excited and realize there are some opportunities there for some hardware - for the next two weeks...
