    The Burns High varsity football team lost a shootout, 38-26, to Glenrock on Friday night at South High School in Cheyenne. The Broncos rallied for a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns, but it wasn't enough to prevent them from falling to 1-4 this season. Glenrock struck twice in the first quarter. Herder quarterback Dillon Farley completed a 16-yard TD pass, and Alex Arnold added a two-point conversion run.   • Sewer smell leads to daycare evacuation

    Burns daycare will no longer be held in the Burns Plex due to bad sewer smell. Mayor Judy Johnstone said the sewer smell came with the building when the town bought it in the 1980s.     “We’ve tried all different things and nothing has addressed the problem to anyone’s satisfaction,” Johnstone said.  For Daycare owner, Jessica Loyd, the unpleasant smell is the beginning of her problems.  The State license reported the sewer smell to Environmental Health on Wednesday, Sept. 17.     Burns Broncs lost on the road to Thermopolis Bobcats 38-0 on Friday The bobcats made one touchdown in the first quarter when Bobcat Dominic Jensen ran for 77-yards to the goal.     The Laramie County Cow-Belles invited third grade students of Cheyenne to enjoy a day of agriculture at the Ag. Expo Tuesday and Wednesday in Archer.
