    Recently the student section of Pine Bluffs Jr. Sr. High has been going absolutely wild. There have been themes for the last couple of games that were a big hit. On Saturday February 8th the Pine teams played Upton, which was a tough one for the boys' varsity. The theme that night was Hawiian.     This past weekend the Pine Bluffs volleyball team went to the 2A state championship. The girls had a pretty outstanding season winning a handful of tournaments including regionals. They ended their regular season as number one in the state for 2A. The girl's first game was against Rocky Mountain, the number 4 seed.     In our small community, it is likely that you will know most of the people that you run into. However, when you hear the name Lisa Gilbert , it's certain everyone knows who she is and what an outstanding coach she has been, ranging from Albin to Pine Bluffs for roughly 33 years. As an assistant coach, she was a part of four state championships, 1987, 2002, 2003, and 2004. As a head coach she lead the team to a state championship in 2005.
