    The Burns Winter Classic kicked off the Burns basketball season Thursday Dec. 11. The tournament included the Burns Broncs, Lingle Doggers, Little Snake River Rattlers, Moorcroft Wolves, Pine Bluffs Hornets, Saratoga Panthers, Shoshoni Wranglers, Southeast Cyclones and the Wind River Cougars.     The Pine Bluffs-Burns boys’ and girls’ cross country teams both had runners place in the top 10 at the Jackalope Invite. The meet was held at the Bearcat Trail in Douglas Wyo. Sept. 20.     The Pine Bluffs Senior Center held an election for their board on Monday Sept. 15 to fill two available seats. Thirty-seven current Senior Center members voted to fill the two available seats for a three year term. The three candidates who ran for the positions were Burt Pace, Dema Gilbert and Franny Haukup. On Friday, Aug. 22 the Pine Bluffs High School teachers with the help of the PBHS Student Council Officers issued the challenge to the Pine Bluffs Elementary to take the plunge.
