During their bi-monthly meeting Tuesday night, Pine Bluffs Town Council members voted 4-0 to hire Loren Lovitt for the position which was vacated in January upon former public works director Jerry Lamb’s departure. Lamb took a job with the city of Cheyenne. Lovitt joined the Pine Bluffs Public Works Department in April, 2014 and is already familiar with the town’s systems. Pine Bluffs Town Council Members Monday night voted to apply for $764,000 in grants and loans to bore an 800ft water well near the town's rodeo facility. In two resolutions, the council approved applying for a $382,000 grant from the Wyoming State Lands and Investment Board and an additional $382,000 loan from the SLIB.
