    Forty-eight pies and United Methodist Church volunteers raised about $1,000 Saturday during Trail Days to benefit Shirley Hall, a Pine Bluffs woman who is in a battle with cancer. Becky Martinez said the sale was a great success, selling slices and whole pies for donations. The pies did not have a price tag, Martinez said. “It didn’t matter if they wanted to buy a pie for $20 or 20 cents. It was all donation,” Martinez said.
