Russell G. Thompson, 80, of Cheyenne, WY, passed away at Surprise Post Care Unit Hospice Center in Goodyear, AZ on December 27, 2017. He was born to Dan and Elizabeth Thompson on November 14, 1937 in Pine Bluffs, Wyoming where he was raised and graduated High School in 1956. He enlisted in the Marine Corps on July 2, 1958. In the year of 2017 there were two donations made by the Points West Bank. One donation went to the Pine Bluffs Student Council, and another went to the Pine Bluffs Senior Center. Aside from the Student Councils ideas for their donation, the Senior Center has not yet decided where the donation will be used. At The Tongue River Tournament last weekend the Burns Boys Broncs had a result of one win and two losses. The Broncs’ first game of the tournament was against Big Horn Varsity. In the first period, Big Horn scored twenty-five points. During second period Big Horn managed to bring the score to 38 .v.s. 11 points.
