    Kay Dersham, the school nurse for the Pine Bluffs and Burns schools, started her series of vaccines on Monday, January 11. The Pine Bluffs school staff will start receiving the first series of shots on February 16th 2021, Burns staff will start the next day on February 17, 2021. The 2nd round of shots will be on March 9 and 10, 2021. The official name for the vaccine is the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine. Each vaccine comes in a series of 2 shots, about 3 weeks apart.     On Monday night Pine Bluffs had their first town hall meeting of the year, it was also the first meeting after the approval of changing the meeting date. All Town Council meetings will now be held on the the second Monday of every month. The first item they discussed was billing for engineering fees. These fees are applied for the valve replacement at the lagoon and pneumonia study project. The bidding will be held February 8th. Next was an MOU agreement with Kimball health clinic.     CHEYENNE – Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Wyoming Department of Education seeks public comment on temporary changes to its federal accountability plan. Public comment is being accepted from January 8-25, 2021. A summary of the changes, copy of the draft document and waiver can be found here.     Last Tuesday the Lady Broncs hosted the Alliance Lady Bulldogs. The 3-4 Broncs beat the Bulldogs by a score of 51 to 44. Added another win in the column but not one of their better games.     On January 8, the Pine Bluffs Hornets Boys basketball team played a double header against the Kaycee Buckaroos and the Sundance Bulldogs.
