The Burns Broncs suffered a loss at last Saturday's home game against the Torrington Trailblazers. Senior Kaden Laiken led the game with 9 points while Caden David racked up 5 rebounds. The boys played hard, but a win just wasn't in the cards this weekend. With a final score of 51-46 the boys came close, but ran out of time to catch up. The Burns Lady Broncs lost a home game last Saturday against the Torrington Lady Trailblazers with a final score of 46/34. This brings the Lady Broncs to a record of 5/8 for the season, and sets the ladies against Wheatland on the 31. Junior Jaden Gipfert and Sophomore Rylee Jo Ward dominated the court with a total of 28 points for the game. Although the turnout was not as robust as normal, those that did show up for the library's winter wonderland celebration were treated to giant marshmallow snowmen, cookies and a chance to make a snow measuring stick. Library worker Molly Williams was on hand to help those who came to make sugary sweet treats that were half-eaten by the time parents came to take their kiddos home.
