Alan and Jen Moore are happy to announce the birth of their son, Silas Alan Moore. Silas was born at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center March 8, 2014. Austin Berkett was named Region 4 Star Farmer and Star State Farmer of Wyoming. Once a museum that relied greatly on donations and $10 membership fees received a $589,000 bonus earlier this year. "We are excited about the opportunities this gives us," said Texas Trail Museum President Tim Nolting. Pine Bluffs veterinarian Bill Shain received a pleasant surprise Saturday as people ventured into the Bluffs Veterinary Clinic for tours of the recently renovated facility. Spring has finally taken hold here in western Nebraska and moved old man winter into a distant memory. From early last October when we received our first snow until mid-April it seemed like a longer winter than most.
