    The council in Burns is looking at buying new equipment for the town. The Burns Town council met April 24th at 5:30 p.m. This was a short meeting for the month with less discussion than normal.     The Burns Broncs Boys Track and Field team traveled to Torrington to compete in the T-Town Qualifier. This is one of the last meets for the Broncs to qualify for Regionals and State. The Burns Broncs Boys team placed second in the meet and did very well individually. The difference between first and second was just over one point. It was a very close meet.     The Pine Bluff Hornets Boys Track and Field team competed in the T-Town Qualifier track meet held at Wiseman Field in Goshen County, Wyoming. The team finished third in the meet just four points below first place. Ten Hornets found themselves on the winner’s podium while several others broke the top 10 circle. Brayden Sumare found himself on the top step finishing the 1600m run ahead of the other runners. Sumare then placed second in the 800m run.     The Lady Broncs traveled to Goshen County in Wyoming to compete in the T-Town Qualifier Meet. The Lady Broncs didn’t do as well as their counterparts finishing fourth in the meet. Still it was a good showing for the Lady Broncs and several of the Broncs did very well. 25 of the Lady Broncs finished in the top 10 and nine finished in the top three.     The Lady Hornets flew to Goshen County to Wiseman Field for the T-Town Qualifier Track and Field Meet. The Lady Hornets fared well finishing sixth in the meet. Some of the leading athlete opted not to participate in some of the events as they have already qualified for post season meets.
