    Gerald Patrick Barkell, 62, of Lodgepole, Nebraska passed away on May 11, 2020 from complications of cancer. Gerald was born to Larry and Joyce Barkell on November 23, 1957 in Kimball, Nebraska. He lived most of his life in Pine Bluffs, Wyoming and most recently in Lodgepole, Nebraska.     Leo Idler passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on May 18, 2020. Leo was born to Herman and Ruby Idler of Kirk, CO, on April 2, 1930, he was 90 years old. On July 7, 1950, he married the love of his life Patsy Lu Beckman. They would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary this year.     The Wyoming Department of Health (WDH) has seen an alarming decline in the number of immunizations administered by providers enrolled in the WDH Immunization Unit’s Vaccines for Children (VFC) and Wyoming Vaccinates Important People (WyVIP) programs since the start of the COVID-19 crisis. Data obtained from the Wyoming Immunization Registry (WyIR) shows Wyoming providers administered 42 percent fewer immunizations in April of this year when compared to April of last year.     Once again the Ladies Auxiliary of the Pine Bluffs American Legion stepped out for Memorial Day to give out poppies for donations to help American Veterans with essential needs. On Friday the ladies managed to raise $73.25 and on Saturday they pulled in $84.
