5 Gerald and Alyce Krakow is the 2021 Grand Marshal for Albin Days. Albin Days is Saturday July 10th. Gerald's great-grandparents first homesteaded on the land that is just a little west of where the Krakow's live now. They came here in 1908 from the Indiana and Minnesota area. Gerald lived all his seventy-six years on the ranch. Alyce lived about ten miles from the area. She started at Whitecrest school then went to Albin when the two schools were combined. The Cheyenne/Laramie County Emergency Management Agency will be testing the Outdoor Warning Siren system promptly at 12:00 p.m. Friday July 2, 2021 for ALL sirens within Laramie County. During an emergency activation the sirens will sound for up to 3 minutes. During the monthly test or maintenance tests, the sirens only sound for 60 seconds. Fees charged by the Wyoming Department of Health (WDH) for official birth, marriage, divorce and death certificates ordered through Vital Statistics Services (VSS) are increasing July 1. The costs of birth, marriage and divorce certificates will increase by $5 each, with death certificate costs increasing by $10.
