Shirley Ann (Ward) Daugherty, 92, passed away on July 9, 2021, in her home with family by her side. Shirley was born on May 21, 1929, in Oconto Nebraska to Martha and Roland Ward. Cheyenne, WY (8/3/21) – The City of Cheyenne has detected the first pools, or group, of mosquitoes to test positive for West Nile Virus (WNV) this year in Laramie County. The test was confirmed by the Wyoming State Veterinary Lab. Alas! Our Tuesday Trails are complete for the season. July 20th was the last Tuesday Trails for the summer. The Pine Bluffs Recreation has been taking groups of people on hikes on the different trails through the bluffs. On this Tuesday morning, fifteen youth and adults went to the bluffs for an exploratory expedition. The Olympics have come to Girlz Night at the Crossroads Community Church in Pine Bluffs on July 21st. The torch was lit by Pastor Dan Debruyn. Three teams of girls were in these Olympics.
