    Franny Haukap will remain on the Pine Bluffs Senior Center Board. She will be joined by newcomer Sandy Bruckner. Bruckner will replace Bert Pace, who decided to step down from the board after his term ends in October. Charley Vaca, Dema Gilbert, and Ronn Ladd also serve on the board. The Pine Bluffs Senior Center board directs the facility’s staff and also makes financial decisions. Other actions taken by the board during the meeting were approving financial reports. He was born on July 7, 1940 in Kimball, NE to his parents, Alwin Steege and Emma (Heckley) Steege. My greatest concern is the tomatoes. Today, I have about 120 pounds of tomatoes left to pick, but only about half are even close to being ripe.     The Pine Bluffs-Burns cross country team headed to Saratoga on Friday and continued what has already been a successful season. Led by Piper Perez, the girls varsity team earned third-place overall. Perez finished sixth with a time of 21:33. Shelby Thurin followed in 14th at 22:48.
