Kimball Health Services in Nebraska is getting closer to inking a deal with the Town of Pine Bluffs that would have KHS take control of the building located at 117 East 4th Street, currently used by University of Wyoming/Tri-County Medical Center. Children of all ages turned out Saturday, Oct. 1 at the parking lot at the Pine Bluffs Community Center for the 4th Annual Touch A Truck or Tractor event. Richard Randall Larson, 88, of Albin, Wyoming, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2016, at the Davis Hospice Center, in Cheyenne. Richard was born July 6, 1928, in Kimball, Nebraska, a son of the late Harry H. and Anna (Larsen) Larson. Richard earned a bachelor's degree from Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kansas. The dates on the photo are Sept. 2, 3 and 4 but the year is unknown because the writing blends into the photo. Some of the vehicles in the photo are dated to be around 1938. After being handed their first loss of the season last week at the hands of Upton-Sundance, the Pine Bluffs Hornets came back nicely with a decisive 48-22 victory over the visiting Wright Panthers last Friday. On a really hot sunny day, Pawnee Coyotes hosted North Park from Walden for their Homecoming Game October 1, where a large group of fans cheered them on. The Pawnee band played throughout the game.
