    It is an honor to have served was the words said by most of the veterans at the Veterans Program at Pine Bluffs high school on Thursday, November 10th. After the program at the high school there was a meet and greet at the Pine Bluffs Public Library. The homemade cookies were set neatly on a serving tray and the hot coffee was ready to be poured.     Christmas lights are getting ready to be put up and the building permits ordinance is about to be approved. The Albin town council met on November 10th at 7:00 p.m. There were three guests at the meeting. They were Allison Brenneman, Lee Willert and Zane Willert.     Getting past the agenda approvals and consent agenda the Pine Bluffs Town Council went right into the review and approval for the awarding of the Storm Water Master Plan Program.     Pearl Florine "Flo" (Steege) Person, 88, of Pinedale, Wyoming was welcomed into the loving arms of her Savior on November 9, 2022. Flo was born on May 23,1934 in Independence, Missouri to Rothoy and Loretta (Mendenhall) Robinson. Shortly after she was born, her family moved to Eastern Laramie County. She graduated from Egbert High School in 1952.     The old county school house out north of Hillsdale, Wyoming recently held their Christmas in the Country craft fair. It is was bursting with craft items. Every year the community north of Hillsdale has a craft fair. This an event to help mothers and people that can not get to a craft fair to sell their projects. This craft fair is a little different. The school house is out in the country. As you walk upon the porch there are items to buy to put on the outside of your house. Inside you just start walking around like you are in someone's home....

    Now that the harvest is over and the potatoes have all been dug, what do you do with your bounty? This year I harvested 700 pounds of potatoes from 350 plants. When I planted last June I anticipated 5 pounds of potatoes per plant. But that was without doing any research on what the yield should really be. After checking into it I found that I should only expect one and a half pounds per plant. Since I got two pounds I guess it turned out better than average. But that's still a lot of potatoes....

    The Pine Bluffs Hornets Varsity football team made it to the 1A 9-man state finals against the Shoshoni Wranglers. The Hornets entered the game undefeated. This game was destiny as the Wranglers were the first team that the Hornets faced and beat this season. The Hornets beat the then ranked #1 Wranglers in an epic battle that would be replayed at the end of the season by a score of 34-26.
