    The doors are soon to open to The Quarter Store, at 6th Street and Chestnut, Kimball, NE. It is open for Pine Bluffs residents as well. Organized by Jeanne Laboray and the Calvary United Methodist Women of Bushnell, NE. (this years co-organizers), you can pick up items for gifts at "only" 25 cents a piece.   • Shop with Heroes hits 6th year

    The Pine Bluffs Police and Fire Department will be taking 10 children to "Shop with a Heroes" on December 16. The children will receive $100.00 gift cards to spend at the WalMart in Cheyenne. After shopping the "Heroes" will treat the children to lunch before delivering them back to their homes in Pine Bluffs.   • Wyoming Highway Patrol Guardians of the Cowboy State

    The Wyoming Highway Patrol recently received recognition for excelling in criminal interdiction efforts during 2016, from the Motor Vehicle Criminal Interdiction Association. In 2016, Wyoming Highway Patrol Troopers seized an estimated street value of $15,900,620 worth of illegal narcotics that were being transported across Wyoming’s highways.     CHEYENNE, Wyo. - A Wyoming veterans service officer from the Wyoming Veterans Commission will conduct community outreach services in Wyoming cities throughout December. Greg Gauntlett is available to meet with veterans and their families to discuss state and federal veteran's benefits, Department of Veterans Affairs Claims or VA Healthcare. She was preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Lucille Carter Houseman, her adoptive parents, Grace and Wally Jung and by her siblings, Jim, Patsy, Billy and Lois.
