    Pine Bluffs Elementary students were treated to some Aboriginal wisdom Thursday night. Paul Taylor, Australian story teller, helped the kids understand the Australian Aborigine language and lessons through songs, dance and stories.     Phyllis Louise Towns, 85, of Hillsdale, Wyo., died Nov. 21, 2014 at Lifecare. She was born on August 11, 1929 in Dundy County, Neb. Phyllis came to Burns in 1929 and first went to the Lutheran School, graduating from Burns High School. Her college coursework included classes in insurance and computers.     Mr. Calvin King Fogg, 71, of Cheyenne, Wy., passed away Nov. 20, 2014, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cheyenne. Calvin was born Sept. 17, 1943, in Cheyenne, to Dean and Mary (Cornish) Fogg and grew up on the family dairy farm east of Cheyenne. Calvin was a 1961 graduate of Cheyenne High School, where he served as FFA President and won State Champion Round-Robin Showmanship.     Pelicans and telephone wires do not mix. A pelican flying over Pine Bluffs flew into a telephone wire on Thursday, according to Pine Bluffs Police Officer Char Madden. The collision caused an injury to the pelican's right wing. The pelican was hanging around town hall until it was contained by David Ellsworth, of Wyoming Game and Fish.     Two Pine Bluffs Hornets were one of six teams to show off their breakfast creations in the final round of the Taco John's Culinary Cup competition.
