    Spirits were good and attendance was at a three year high for the annual meeting of the Texas Trail Market Coop. A dinner of ham, potatoes, and green beans was served by the board members to members and their families.   • 12th Annual Christmas Light Decoration Contest underway

    The Pine Bluffs Recreation Department will sponsor the 12th Annual Christmas Light Decoration Contest with the judging to take place on Monday, December 18th from 6p-8p. The contest is for residents living within the town limits, businesses are excluded. Everyone is encouraged to participate in the contest but please keep in mind that homes can only win every other year so homes that were selected as winners last year will not be eligible to win again until Christmas 2018.     Wrestling season is finally here and the team is pumped up and ready to go. Pictured above is the 2017/18 Burns Pine Bluffs Wrestling Team. December 8 started the Charles Lake 2 day wrestling tournament in Cheyenne. This meet was attended by numerous teams from across the area.     Diana Sanchez is the lone female wrestler on the Burns Pine Bluffs wrestling team. This is her second year on the team. She wrestles in the 150 lb category. When asked how she did last year Sanchez said, "I think I did ok". She too was looking forward to the season but had some concerns.     The Burns Bronc Basketball Varsity team started the tournament with a bang. Taking the first 2 games but losing the last 2. Coach Patterson said, "We learned a lot about ourselves this weekend, this was another great learning experience for our team". The first game pitted the Bronc's against Moorcroft.
