    The cars were lining the streets of Hillsdale and the people were waiting for the annual Christmas parade on December 17th at 5:00 p.m. The Laramie County Fire District #6 lead the parade.     The Burns Lady Broncs Basketball team had a rough outing last weekend as they participated in the Douglas/Lander Valley Classic tournament. The Lady Broncs did battle against the Wheatland Lady Bulldogs, Douglas Lady Bearcats, Lovell Lady Bulldogs and Lander Valley Lady Tigers.     Recently, Burns resident Caysen Ross a junior high wrestler traveled to Gillette, Wyoming to compete in the Wyoming Middle School State Championship. He does not wrestle for Burns school but as an independent. Ross wrestles in the 115lb weight class and does very well.     It's been a fast paced start to the Pine Bluffs Hornets Basketball season. The boys started off with the Burns Insurance Winter classic with a 3-1 finishing record. A high point in the tournament was an accomplishment by Stu Lerwick.     The Burns Broncs boy's basketball team opened up the season at home with the Winter Classic. The Broncs went 2-2 at the tournament to start things off. The Broncs posted wins over Torrington and Wheatland but lost to Thermopolis and Southeast. This team is senior-heavy with seven listed on the roster.
