Students compete in stock market challenge

Fourteen members of Pine Bluffs FBLA attended the Junior Achievement Stock Market Challenge that was sponsored by the Allstate Foundation at the Cable Center on the Denver University Campus on Friday, Nov. 2. Pine Bluffs sent three teams to the competition that simulated being on the trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange. Each team started the competition with $500,000 and competed with 58 other teams around the Denver area to build the best portfolio in two months’ worth of simulated trading time.
