Local volunteer firefighter is noticed by county commissioners

or Laramie County Fire District No. 6 Hillsdale station, was recognized with an appreciation award from the Laramie County Commissioners Tuesday afternoon. McNamar, along with 11 other area firefighters received his award for the work done to establish radio connectivity for all emergency responders within Laramie county. This effort resulted in improving safety and ensuring conformation of the Federal Communication Commissioner’s mandate to be “Narrow Banded” by Dec. 31, 2012.
