Pine Council discussed sportsman’s club and projects

The Pine Bluffs council discussed the lease with the sportsman club. Mayor Bill Shain told the council he was encouraged the club was working on accepting all the applications on the waiting list. “They were sending out a letter today to everyone on the list saying they could get a membership,” Shain said. He added the club intended to increase the number of members it allows.

The existing lease will be in effect until Jan. 1, 2013. The existing lease will overlap until the council and the club decide on a new agreement. They have until Dec. 1, 2012 to agree on a new lease.
