Athlete of the week

Ailaina Suppes was at the elbow end of a personal foul last week. “Some of the teams we play are rough,” Ailaina smiled pointing to her black eye. A black eye to an athlete is a sense of accomplishment.

Ailaina is a seventh grade utility player on the Pawnee junior high girls basketball team. Kathy Adams, girls basketball coach said even though Ailaina is a standard utility player, the team would be less without her.
