Pine Bluffs, Burns basketball teams start at 2-1

The Burns Broncs came out of the inaugural weekend of the basketball season with a 2-1 record. They lost to Big Horn in the opening game of the Tiger Jamboree in Lusk on Friday, and followed that up with wins over Sundance and Glenrock.

“Overall we were satisfied with the way the weekend turned out,” said coach Sean Patterson. “We all understand there is plenty of room for improvement and some things we need to shore up. We feel like we played our best basketball in the Glenrock game Saturday night, this was very encouraging as it was the last game of the weekend.”
